Looking to lead complex integration projects in a large-scale government transformation? Join us as a Senior Technical Business Analyst driving real impact in Wellington!

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a high-impact government transformation programme in Wellington. You will define and deliver robust user stories and acceptance criteria across complex SaaS and integration platforms, like Salesforce and MuleSoft. You'll engage with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and ensure sprint readiness, all while improving government services.

What will you be doing on a day-to-day basis?
  • Developing detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to High-Level Requirements and the Client's BA standards.
  • Participating in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews) and supporting backlog management in JIRA.
  • Working closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, SMEs and vendors to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions.
  • Supporting business acceptance activities, including UAT coordination, defect triage and traceability management.
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to validate requirements and future-state design.
  • Ensuring quality documentation and maintaining artefacts in Confluence and related repositories.
Systems used - JIRA, Confluence, MS office Suite.

Key attributes/ skills  the ideal candidate would bring to the role:
  • Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst in large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience working within iterative / agile delivery environments.
  • Proven capability working across configurable SaaS platforms and system integrations (including Salesforce, MuleSoft and AEM).
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and facilitate effective workshops.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability.
  • Experience supporting UAT, defect triage and release readiness activities.
  • High-quality documentation skills and strong attention to traceability.
