We’re looking for an experienced Senior Test Manager to take a key leadership role on a large and highly complex programme in Wellington.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of the overall testing approach and work closely with programme leadership, technical teams and key stakeholders to ensure testing is well planned, coordinated and delivered.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead testing across a large, complex highly political programme with multiple workstreams.
- Develop and manage the overall test strategy, planning and delivery.
- Coordinate testing activities, resources and priorities.
- Manage senior stakeholder expectations, reporting and escalations.
- Provide leadership and direction to testing resources.
- Ensure appropriate testing standards, processes and tools are in place.
- Identify risks early and ensure there are no surprises around testing delivery.
Ideally, you’ll bring 5+ years’ formal software testing and test planning experience, along with strong test strategy and project delivery experience.
Experience across systems integration, business processes, software development and infrastructure would be particularly valuable, along with strong people leadership and communication skills.
This is an immediate start contract based in Wellington, so we're particularly interested in speaking with experienced Test Managers who are available at short notice.
